Winding Creek Kennels is a distinguished full service boarding facility for your dogs & cats, a kennel & cattery with country charm where guests are treated as if they were our own children. Our primary consideration is to provide a safe, clean, loving, and healthy atmosphere for your pets while you are temporarily unable to care for them. Winding Creek Kennels is a family owned & operated facility, where professionalism and customer service are second only to the proper & healthy care of our guests. Winding Creek Kennels was established & incorporated in 1993 by owners Ed and Joan Klink, who live on the premises to ensure that your pet is given the best attention possible.

is in charge of greeting customers and sampling goodies. Ed is holding their newest family member, Jax, a Newfoundland puppy.

Winding Creek Kennels canine and feline guests are supervised 24 hours a day.  In addition to our boarding facilities for dogs of all sizes and our separate cattery, we offer nature walks, dedicated play times, bathing, nail trims, and brushing sessions, along with selected/endorsed retail items for our canine and feline friends. We also have a outstanding obedience training program. Winding Creek Kennels, situated on 35 beautiful acres in the country, conveniently located just off Hwy 316 or Atlanta Hwy between Gwinnett and Athens/Clarke counties.  For your convenience, we also offer pet taxi service (pick-up & delivery, one way or round trip).

At Winding Creek Kennels we welcome and encourage your inspection of our facilities.  As a member of the American Boarding Kennels Association (ABKA), Winding Creek Kennels freely acknowledges and willingly accepts the serious responsibility involved in the care of your beloved pets. As a part of that responsibility, we maintain membership in ABKA and are committed to operate
our kennel in accordance with the ABKA Bill of Rights for Boarded Pets. We have a professionally trained staff that will cater to your pet's every need. All of our staff are committed to the ABKA Code of Ethical Conduct.   Our devotion to strict standards proves it!

The American Boarding Kennels Association is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the betterment of the Boarding Kennels Industry.  Hence, all ABKA members subscribe to and must run their business in accordance with their mandated Code of Ethics.
